Share the loooove Readers I am always thinking of youse, always. See the cute lil envelope below? Well if you click on it you can e-mail the blire I have whipped up for your delectation to one of your pal's for their delectation. You can also add in your own wee message like "Get a loada Rosie, she really is terribly self-obsessed, isn't she?"

Something for the weekend Tell us what you're up to - post a comment below. If anyone can beat Abs performing at ultra cool Mr Festival to the ultra kitsch Rose of Tralee in one weekend last weekend, I'll be impressed. I am not going to even try with my shelf hanging, wall painting late twenties household kicks...

But's he's only tiny I know I should make the pics bigger but as I am using our legendary new laptop I no longer have any of the software I used to have (hint hint) which enabled me to create smart looking graphics at the touch of a button or the click of a mouse. I must look into the likes of this... And don't ask me what's going on with the HTML here. It's weird. I didn't mark up this big gap and therefore cannot get rid of it. Hmmm

Look Ma! No Hands! Are helmets really a cool fashion accessory, Dad? Now I'm happy!

Ordg an Gaeilgeora or Gaeilgeoir's Thumb. I went to see a physioherapist yesterday and I have been diagnosed with tendonitis. She asked me if, at the time when I first noticed the condition, I started doing anything diffeent or new. As I had been working on my computer at home I didn't think that going back to work at a computer was the main cause. The physiotherapist told me I had to rest my right hand completely. I was at work today and suddenly I realised exactly what was different: sinti fada! (Which I can't get working (a) in Blogger and (b) on our new laptop). To type a sine fada you have to press the vowel and AltGr which is awkward at first but once you get the hang of it, it's econd nature - I can type as fast in Irish as in English.

If you discover a medical condition or are the first person diagnosed with it isn't it named after you? Wow.

Rud an ait faoin bhfocal "Gaeilgeoir": c go bhfuil s firinscineach, n chuirtear seimhi air tar is an ailt sa tuiseal ginideach. Focal eile a chuireann ionadh orm i gcnai n an focal "Gaeltacht" a bhriseann an rial "Caol le caol agus leathan le leathan". Oh bhueal is iad na heisceachta srl....

Not an Olympic Sport The International Olympic Committee (IOC) seem like a rum bunch. They certainly have their work cut out for them keeping up with all the doping scandals and traffic accidents that seem to be happening. So, in fairness, you would think they had a little bit more to be worrying about than "barring competitors, as well as coaches, support personnel and other officials, from writing firsthand accounts for news and other websites" You're Athetes, not Journalists
