Wrecknology My head is totally melted. I've lost a day's worth of work. Aaaaargh
Garman's tupenny worth gg================ 5gvb nnnnnnnnnnnnnyyyyyyybbbbbbbbbbb
Too late to be really original as the brother would say. I had this great idea while I was on maternity leave and being all donestic. A website where you could input your weekly shopping list which would then select the best value from the major supermarket chains that deliver in your area. I was inspired because I used Superquinn's service once while I was on maternity leave and found it very good though no replacement for actual shopping which is one of the household chores which I actually enjoy. Some people like ironing, I love grocery shopping. I digress. It turns out somebody else has beaten me to it - quelle surprise considering my idea is still a scribble in my notebook... Check out ShoppingBill.com.
Home again Garman and I are at home again today. When we went to the clinic to get his injections the nurse took one look at him and knew straight away there was something up. The doctor diagnosed a virus and recommended Calpol and TLC. I had never used Calpol before but I gace it to him just before 6 yesterday evening. He had a little nap and woke up as the Garman we know and love (as opposed to the whingeing, crying changeling that the fairies had left the night before). He is lying on the bed behind me at the moment squeaking and squealing at the mobile the Radio Star gave him and playing with one of the jungle animals Mrs. Casey gave him. What a cutie.
And in the blue corner weighing in at 16lbs and 2oz, Garman Meyler! No wonder my back is killing me. Which reminds me, I went to a chiropractor twice recently. I'm not sure what I think of it but I decided to put my treatment on hold as I don't really have the headspace for it at the moment with everything else that is going on. Let me know what you think of chiropractice (is that a word?) if you have tried it.

Never a moment I have a day off today which is a blessing as poor wee G hardly slept a wink last night. He is asleep right now. In fact he fell asleep between mouthfuls of lunch: he was that tired. I went to Boob Group this morning for the last time and brought along some chocolate fudge cake by way of thanks. Chocolate is always popular with breastfeeding mums. Sylvia and I just couldn't believe that our babies are now the eldest. She is also planning to give up soon. I think I am going to start phasing it out this weekend. He is six calendar months on Saturday. Time flies. The WHO recommendation is six months at least so I have done my duty!
The Snorb So, yeah, we went to see The Orb on Friday and they were really disappointing. Of course, you could argue, that as I don't get out much, I may have been expecting too much. It was like being at a sound check. We were home by 11.30 and my parents, who were babysitting, were very surprised. Ah well.
