The Boy who couldn't cry That last entry should have ended with "Speaking of whom..." of course. So Garman grows apace: another 7oz in the last week so he should pass the 8lb mark in the next week. While I was at the breastfeeding support group the nurse commented on his crusty eyes (what colour are his eyes you ask? crusty). Apparently his tear ducts are blocked. Ah for God's sake the poor little creech.
Does anyone know why labour (as in childbirth) is so difficult? The end doesn't really seem to justify the means. That sounds terrilble, as if I don't value my baby, but what I mean is that it just doesn't seem very efficient. One would imagine for such an evolved creature as the human we would have evolved a more efficient childbirth process. Maybe that's what the caesarean section is...
