Loprofile Won't be much to see here folks for the next few days. Himself's parents are coming for a few days tonight and I am off to Kilkenny tomorrow for the night for the Future Mrs. Casey's hen party. Can't wait to see her.
Boo-hoo Was at yoga on Wednesday. Reckon it's the last one for a while after realising 2 things:
Oh well not long until my antenatal yoga starts in Holles St.
Not so cool I went to check out the Muji CD Player at lunchtime, thinking I would buy it. It is cool but wasn't superkeen on the hanging abilities and apparently the sound isn't so good. Oh it is such an amazing object though.... Oh feck dilemna. money...burning...hole....in...pocket...
Boo-hoo Was at yoga on Wednesday. Reckon it's the last one for a while after realising 2 things:
- I will be 30 weeks (7.5 months) pregnant this time next week
- It's kinda hard to balance with an extra 2 stone on your front - you try active lunges with an extra one fifth of your body loaded between your neck and legs!

The Martians are coming but I took no notice. Completely forgot to check out Mars in the sky last night. Oh dear! I hope my grandchildren don't ask me about it...

Flog You may be wondering what the deal is with the Flog topic below on the left. Well I found out that you can blog from you phone and that there is a site that offers such a service in Ireland. It's particularly cool if you have a digital camera integrated in your mobile phone.
Now even though I managed to regiser and start a flog on this site it was only when I tried to post from the mobile that I realised you had to be a real 02 customer to avail of it. Fair enough. So I decided to mail Vodafone and ask them if they were planning to develop a similar service. I was mailed back and told by the rep who mailed me that she couldn't access the site. I have had no problem accessing the site so I can only presume they have no internet access. I'm waiting to hear back from her. I mentioned that I might be persuaded to switch providers if they don't plan on developing a phone blog service. Or if their customer representatives don't have internet access...
And don't get me started on Eircom's Domestic Broadband Package. Oh holy God!!

Kudos to Kaybee in particular. Not so convinced about being known as a 3-time loser in the national press but sure you cn't have it every way. Nice one!
Irish Times Article - Game Boys face up to a tough screen test: "The site is operated by 'four women and a token man' - motorcycle buff Katherine Bailey, content creator Roseanne Smith who speaks from a three-time-loser record before she passed her driving test, busy marketing director and flashy sports car enthusiast Sinead Deegan, publicist Doireann Gillan who hasn't yet got around to trying for her driving licence, and artist Mark Ellison who 'looks fantastic behind the wheel of a mini'."
At least it doesn't say he looks great behind the skirt of a mini...

Now ye're talkin' Simple but not vomit inducing. Better? Now I must go and tackle (a) a pile of washing up (b) some nourishment and (c) some serious amounts of ironing. My ironing avoidance tactics will have to improve...
Yeuchhh I can't get the site right. I'm gonna try something else...
Perspective One thing about the Westbury that was really annoying on Saturday (and to be fair the only criticism I would have) was that unless you are a resident with a key card you cannot use the lifts to get up to the main lounge area. Not very good if you have a pram (as one of the Eumoms did) or are in a wheelchair.
A meeting of minds and big, big bodies After a quiet evening in watching Sex and the City with Himself (he loves it but would only admit it if asked if he loved Will and Grace more) on Friday the weekend definitely ramped up on Saturday.
It was so hot! I cycled into town to meet some other Eumoms in the Westbury, to put some faces to the pseudonyms. We had a very pleasant couple of hours talking about all sorts of stuff that only expectant mothers can find interesting. As it was my idea to begin with I was quite nervous that it wouldn't go well but it was great and we hope to meet up again in a month or so. Ready made playmates for Frisky - hurrah!
Cool as... Saturday evening we went off to the Radio Star's house-cooling party. It was still really warm and we had a really nice evening chatting, listening to eclectic tunes, eating and drinking (ginger ale for me - my latest tipple)
Dundalk, haigh! Sunday - a nice lie-in and then an amazingly short hour and a quarter drive to visit Himself's big sis and family in Dundalk. His eldest niece isn't so well but hopefully is on the mend today. It was really warm (very unusual) and great craic (as usual) with all the Stanleys.
